Player Registrations

2018 Player Registrations are now open for community U5 – U18, seniors, WPL and NPL packages and available through My Football Club (MFC) webpage.

Below you will have details of everything you need to know and do to register for the 2018 season.

Payment of Player Registration Fees

Fees are to be paid online through My Football Club (MFC) at the time of registration by selecting the relevant package. Payment can be processed via Credit or Debit card.

Payment using EFT, EFTPOS or Cash will only be available on dedicated GUFC registration days, these dates are still to be advertised but will be updated here when confirmed and a communique will also be sent to existing distribution lists. If this will be your preferred method of payment you will be able to register via MFC on the day and process payment.

Player Eligibility

To be eligible for round one of competition all players must be made “Active” in MFC one week prior of the relevant competition start date. It will be a player / parent responsibility to ensure they have completed all actions to be made “Active”.

To be an “Active” player means registration payment has be received in full or an approved payment plan has been processed.

Players not “Active” by the requirements defined above will not be able to compete until resolved. Coaches and Managers of the team will be notified of eligible players prior to round one commencing.

If a player registers after competition begins the same rules apply, however if full payment and registration is processed prior to Friday12 noon that player will be eligible for the round of that Saturday if they have been assigned a team.

  • GUFC Fees

Different packages include different fee components, this can be viewed during player registration in MFC, once a package is added, click the “Fee Breakdown” button and the relevant fee components and their costs will be displayed.

Volunteer Levy

GUFC is currently run on a volunteer basis. This allows us to help keep the operational component of your registration fees manageable for our families.

As we haven’t always had sufficient volunteers to run the club, this year we have introduced a Volunteer Levy. This money is used to draw from a large pool of people from across the ACT who are happy to help out when the need arises. We respect that many parents don’t have the time to volunteer and are happy with this levy, while many of you are happy to help out on an as needs basis. For everyone who volunteers for a minimum of 5 hours over the 2018 season, we will give you a 100% refund of this levy at the end of the 2018 season

For more information about the Volunteer Levy and on all the different ways you can volunteer for the club click here.

If you are already a member please use the Volunteer Reimbursement Form  to be reimbursed for your services.

Sponsorship

All sponsorship enquiries are managed by a team of dedicated people and initial requests are to be sent to s[email protected]

Team Sponsorship – Senior, Community, WPL and NPL teams are eligible to seek team sponsorship.

Player Sponsorship – WPL and NPL players are eligible to seek individual sponsorship of $350 of which $300 will be refunded to the player. A player could potentially use this to speed up payment of Registration Fees. This process is managed completely separate from Player Registrations and therefore if a player is sponsored that player must still pay full fees at the time of WPL or NPL player registration through MFC and be eligible to play and “Active” prior to the first round of competition as deemed above in Player Eligibility.

For details on all sponsorship contact above.

Uniforms

Seniors, WPL and NPL uniforms are managed independent from registration, for enquires please contact the relevant competition coordinators to assist.

Community Players U5 – U18 will be required to include their uniform sizing at the time of registering as a player, failure to provide details may result in a player not having a uniform and being able to start the competition.

Sizing for uniforms may be found directly on the supplier website through the following links

Women’s Sizes – https://www.ultrafootball.com/pages/size-guide-nike-womens-clothing
