NPLW Season 2021 Trials

NATIONAL PREMIER LEAGUE WOMEN’S TRIALS NOW CLOSED

The GUFC NPLW Open Sessions and Trials for the 2021 season are now closed and teams finalised. We look forward to welcoming players to trial for the GUFC NPLW 2022 season later this year.

General NPLW Trial Information

Our NPLW open sessions and trials are held in October and November each year, split into trial age groups (see below age guide), and are generally held over three weeks. Goalkeeper trials are held by our Goalkeeper Coach during the same period and may be conducted separately.

It is expected that all players interested in playing NPLW attend junior trials and senior train-on sessions. Players trialling for our Under 13s, Under 15s and Under 17s are asked to register online prior to attending trials. A form will be made available once NPLW trials are announced for the next NPLW season. Players trialling for our Reserve and First Grade teams are not required to pre-register online. Our NPLW Program Coordinator, Nicole Brown will be at the trials taking contact details of senior players.

GUFC is a values-based Club with a strong focus on commitment, respect, professionalism, and enjoyment. We expect all our players to uphold to our Club Values, which you can read here.

Trial Age Groups

  • Under 13s: Female players that have turned 13 or under by 31 December 2021.
  • Under 15s: Female players that have turned 15 or under by 31 December 2021.
  • Under 17s: Female players that have turned 17 or under by 31 December 2021.

All players are asked to register and trial in their respective age group. The decision of offering a player a position in an older age group is at the discretion of GUFC Coaching Staff after strongly considering the growth and development of the player.
