QUESTION:

Why do I have to buy a new uniform?

ANSWER:

  • Growth – The majority of our players experience physical growth year on year and simply don’t fit last years uniform.
  • Lost or Damaged – It will always happen. ‘I’ve lost my socks’. ‘I can’t find my shirt’. We have all been there.
  • New Teams – Most players move from one team to another or from one age group to another each year. Our younger teams (U5-U9) are identified by their age group (i.e. an U5 player will be identified with a number 5). If they move from U5’s to U6’s they need a new number. For our older competitors we need to ensure that they do not have a number clash when graded and new teams are formed.
  • New Players – On average we grow our player base by 20%. These new players need a uniform that allows them an easy transition into our Club.

GUFC are committed to supporting our brand appropriately and provide our teams with a consistent look. In essence becoming more ‘uniform’. Buying in bulk ensures that we maintain our brand and provide our members and players top quality uniforms at a highly discounted rate (>40%)

What does my registration money get spent on?

QUESTION:

Why do we have to sell raffle tickets for the club when we already pay fees?

ANSWER:

Golf days, Canteen, and Raffles are just a few of the activities the we organise to raise additional funds for your Club. Registration fee’s cover the ‘nuts and bolts’ of the operation, but don’t provide additional funds for growth. (i.e. better IT, newer furniture in the Clubhouse, better playing grounds.)

We encourage our entire community to participate in all of our fund raising activities. It simply makes a better Club for our members.

QUESTION:

If someone is interested in coaching a team, how can they get on board with GUFC?

ANSWER:
